Education

Teachers of the Department provide lecturing, carrying out of seminars on such disciplines as: "Pedagogics", "Bases of Pedagogics and Psychology", "Pedagogics and Psychology of the Higher School", "Pedagogical Skill", "Social Pedagogics and Social Work", "Bases of Pedagogics", "Pedagogical Technologies".

They carry out a students’ teaching practice in secondary schools. Teachers of the Department establish new methods of training in the higher school, introduce modern computer technologies and means of the information. For post-graduate students and young teachers of university the seminar " Methodological and Theoretical Bases of Professional Preparation of Future Teachers in Conditions of Classical University " works. The head - Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Science A.V. Gluzman.

Research

Areas of research: Development of the system of personal-oriented values of the Arts Faculty students at Classic Universities. Preparation of graduate students and competitors is conducted at the Chair in the following areas: Theory and History of Pedagogics, Theory and Methods of Professional Education.
