Education

The staff of the department read lectures and conduct seminars on the following courses: "General pedagogics", "History of pedagogics", "Bases of psychology and pedagogics", "Pedagogical technique", "Technique of educational work in children's country camps". They supervise students' practice in comprehensive school. During many years they carry out the work with branches and departments of education to better prepare the humanitarian pedagogical staff. Lecturers of the department find new methods of training in the higher school, introduce modern computer technologies and means of information. Employees of the department have business ties with institutions where students have their summer practice in the towns of Alushta, Yevpatoria, Saki, Sudak. Students' Olympiad "Pedagogics and the present" is annually carried out. Winners take part in All-Ukrainian Olympiad on pedagogics. For post-graduate students and young teachers of the university the seminar "Bases of psychology and pedagogics of the higher school" is conducted. Professor A. V. Gluzman supervise post-graduate students and competitors on the specialty "Theory and techniques of professional pedagogics".

Scientific Work

The department works on the problem "The ways of raising professional and pedagogical training of students". We conduct researches together with universities of Donetsk, Dniepropetrovsk, Zaporozhie, Chernovtsy and Crimean institutes. The employees published some 100 scientific researches on the problem.
