Information

As independent unit, the Department of Crimean-Tartar Literature (initially, faculty of Crimean-Tartar Language and Literature) began functioning in 1992. The first Head of the Department was senior lecturer D. B Bekirov.

Scientific Problematic

Preliminary historical and literary development necessary for creation of complete insight of history Crimean-Tartar literature. The faculty works at edition of textbooks and manuals, methodical papers both for a comprehensive school, and for higher schools. In 1998-99 the international fund "Revival" maintained the following projects: " History of Crimean-Tartar literature" for 8, 9, 10 classes, " Reader on medieval literature "

Employees of the department are authors and co-authors of manuals for schools and higher schools (S.Junusov, T.Useinov, A.Harahady, G.Nedzhmudinova, A.Kokieva). All programs on disciplines of Crimean-Tartar language, folklore, and literature are prepared at the department.
