It was established in 1992 at the Faculty of Philology
A. M. Memetov -- professor, Doctor of
Philology. In 1969 he finished the Irani-Afghani Department of Tashkent State
University. Worked as the teacher of the Persian language at the Faculty of General
Linguistics, then managed the Faculty of Crimean-Tartar Language and Literature
at the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute. Since 1992 he has been working at
Taurida National University as a Dean of the Faculty of Crimean-Tartar and Oriental
Philology. He conducts scientific researches in the field of historical lexicology
of Turkic languages, studies problems of interference and mutual enrichment of
the related and unrelated languages. He also writes textbooks, manuals and dictionaries,
for schools and high schools, has published more than hundred scientific works,
including 12 books: "The Practice on Grammar of the Tartar Language "
- the textbook for high schools; " Sources of Formation of Lexicon of Crimean-Tartar
Language"; "Loans in Crimean-Tartar Language"; "Kyrymtatar
Tili" - the textbook for high schools. Supervises the post-graduate students
and trainees, reads lectures on modern Crimean-Tartar language, general linguistics.
At the faculty, the laboratory on preparation of textbooks on Crimean-Tartar language and literature for schools and high school has been established where creative collective works (A.M.Memetov, L.A.Alieva, E.N.Medzhitova, R.A.Berberova) that has already issued about 20 textbooks and manuals for schools and high schools, 4 dictionaries. The first basic research "Lexicology of Crimean-Tartar Language" by professor A.M.Memetov, is actually the first high school textbook on modern Crimean-Tartar Language. On the basis of faculty, the international conferences devoted to the well- known Crimean-Tartar scientists B. Choban-zade, I. Gasprinsky are led. | ||||||||||||||||||||
