Areas of Research

Magnetic characteristics of gamete ferrite, theoretical foundations of the chemistry of solutions; development of new physicochemical variants of research into the complexation in heterogeneous systems; development of technologies for chemical and electrochemical treatment of complex configuration products made of niobium for superconducting elementary particle accelerators; technology for processing ores of original and man-caused deposits to extract colour and noble metals; and study of physicochemical characteristics of biopolymers (pectins).
Interdepartmental labs for tunnel microscope research and environmental studies are operating at the Department.

Academic and Educational Relations

are maintained with Kiev Polytechnic University, Karkiv National University, the Russian Mendeleev Chemical Technology University, and Magarach Research Institute (Yalta).
