History

It was established in 1995 and is now directed by Professor V. A. Podsolonko

Areas of Research

Orientation of economic and geographic regions of Ukraine towards the world level of market development; management principles for the development of the Black Sea regions of Ukraine; development of an institutional and economic mechanism for the economic restructuring of Ukrainian regions (the Crimean region is used as an example); methods of the development of strategies for the economic growth of the Crimea.
Postgraduate students and doctoral candidates do research in the following areas: strategic management: innovation management;
hotel, health recreation and tourist services management; environmental management; natural resources management; marketing; international marketing; and services marketing.

Academic and Educational Relations

are maintained with the NASU Institute of Economic and Legal Research, Sevastopol State Technical University, the Academy of the National Economy for the Government of the Russian Federation, Universities of Nice (France) and Genoa (Italy), Helsinki University, Vaasa University (Finland), and Alabama University (the United States).
