astrophysics, atmosphere optics) and the NASU Academician N. V. Steshko
(optic and astronomic instrument-making, solar physics); Assistant Professors:
V. V. Tsymbal (physics of star atmospheres), V. M. Kuvshynov (magnetic
fields of stars and extragalactic peculiar objects, polarimetrics and spectropolarimetrics
of galactic and extragalactic radiation sources), V. V. Panenko (coherent
optics), T. A. Korostelina (general physics, physics teaching methods),

(demonstration experiment techniques).
Student graduate as specialists in astrophysics and atmosphere physics. IAbsolute star spectrophotometry; atmosphere
physics; Sun and Earth relations; physics of star atmospheres; methods of
physics teaching in secondary schools and universities. Major completed research
projects: a catalogue of star-spec-trophotometric standards. Prospective research
projects: dynamics of the global ozone content; development of a high-precision
ozone content test. are maintained with Shevchenko
