History

It was established in 1972 by Professor E.V.Kolesnikov and is now directed by Professor I.P.Stadnik

Faculty Members

Professor I.P.Stadnik (electrodynamics, synthesis of magnetic fields, static fields);
Assistant Professor: A.P.Telegin (numerical methods in physics, macroscopic thetric and magnetic systems; analytical and numeric methods for calculation of electromagnetic, thermal and other physical fields; theory of integral equations; computer modelling of physical fields and processes; experimental methods for research into electromagnetic fields and processes.

Areas of Research

Analysis and synthesis of electromagnetic fields, calculation and optimisation of electronical instruments and constructions; synthesis of electric and magnetic systems; analytical and numeric methods for calculation of electromagnetic, thermal and other physical fields; theory of integral equations; computer modeling of physical fields and processes; experimental methods for research into electromagnetic fields and processes.

Academic and Educational Relations

are maintained with the NASU Institute of Electrodynamics, the East Ukrainian University (Lugansk), the Crimean Academy of Nature Conservation and Resort Development, and SELMA Electric Machine Construction Plant (Simferopol). New designs of linear and rotary electric engines with permanent magnets have been developed together with Optimag Company and Fiolent Plant and their small series have been produced for some U. S. companies. Relations have been established with Darmstadt Higher Technical School (Technische Hochschule Darmstadt) and Giessen Higher Specialised School (Fachhochshule Giessen) (Germany).
